Image stabilization (IS) has researched since the digital camera was shown in the market. And this research has been expanded to the miniature camera modules (MCMs) since the advent of first smart phone. The MCMs is completely different from the camera module in earlier digital camera, for examples structures, fabrication, materials and the dimensions. Most of all, the size limitation bring about much more consideration of maintaining high image sharpness, since it makes the diameter of lens and pixel size reduced. This causes negative consequences that the MCMs gets less amount of light source during unit time and the single pixel has lower sensitivity to light. And according to the physiological researches, the human body continuously moving resulting from not a pathological factors but a contraction and relaxation of muscles [5]. It means that anyone who is going to take a picture cannot keep into completely stand still during the exposure time. Hence, it is most important thing that the MCMs can compensate the motion from the user to get a clear image in night or indoor photographing. For this reason, the IS system has been researched as the important technique since the infancy of MCMs.

In this research, the methodology for designing linear feedback controller with gyro signal filter satisfying given specification is proposed and the MCM which contains lens shifting method and gyro sensor is treated as a target plant. It is note that OIS system controller contains the gyro signal filter as well as the feedback controller. Therefore, the system performance would be varied by not only the feedback controller but also the gyro signal filter.
