Pillbot, a pillbug inspired a small reconnaissance robot, can transform into two modes, protection and locomotion mode. This robot is portable and throwable size and highly maneuverable in rough terrain.

  

Second version of Pillbot is also developed in compact size. This Pillbot 2 features shock absorbing with CFRP and Form clay protection shell, fast deployment, and flexible power transmission.
